Explore your outdoor settings and discover the species on your doorstep. This session uses technology to encourage digital skills and help connect people to the nature around them. Map your own trees, record the bugs in your bushes, find the mushrooms in the soil, spot the birds in your hedges so you can plan your future activities to increase biodiversity.

ZERO experience necessary, the session is led by myself or one of my team with lots of experience delivering their specialities.

Wellness in nature - Calm and creative communities

Explore beautiful outdoor settings through photography and art techniques. Wander through your environment with a new lens and capture calming photographs and create serene small artworks.

Wellness in Nature - Queer nature walk

I founded a garden that grows peoples resilience alongside the food. This walk has evolved from the community around me. GAY NATURE celebrates the beautiful wild diversity that reflects in our own identities, exploring natural spaces, noticing plants, animals and landscapes that embody queerness and resilience. Along the way we will create a zine of reflections and stories to take home as a reminder of the messages of belonging and connections nature has left al around us.

Includes a session plan, risk assessment, SMBC liaison for rubbish removal, public liability insurance and a walking route based around litter picking, re wilding activities and reporting street issues

The civic pride session focuses on environmental guardianship, exploring your environments and the role we can play to reduce carbon and increase nature at the local level. Participation not only promotes teamwork and teaches valuable skills in community work, volunteering  and sustainability, but

Pet Ducks

Hire our ducks, they enrich the soil and our wellbeing.

The ducks can be hired for fun - feed them and pet them or you can put them to work on your growing spaces, they can come and forage the slugs whilst pooping their nutrients direct into your soil. Duck poop is safe to use with no need for rotting unlike horse manure. Our ducks are fed with Growers Pellets and home grown produce (they're favourite veg is squash)

Printing with plants

This session is one element of my citizen science walks, I have made this accessible as its own session as feed back has shown it increases peoples confidence in nature and increased self confidence in individuals who might not ordinarily se themselves as artists or creative people

Wellness in Nature.

I took all the tools I have in my mental health armoury and created this 'retreat' for Arc Centre Stockport as part of their Arts and Health week. The aim is to use the nature around us to turn down the noise in our lives. By combining art, mindfulness, and nature workshops, I've crafted an empowering experience that helps you reconnect with yourself in these overly hectic times, through foraging experiences, land art and wild food walks. You don't need to be an outdoor adventurer, an artist, or

Scything, Coppicing & Hedge laying

£250 per half day

I average around half an acre a day; if you have a large amount of land to cover, I can arrange for a scythe gang to come out, but please note that individual scyther rates vary. This service includes various planting tasks, and I only use hand tools, laying in accordance with the requirements set out by direct gov. This enables landowners to draw hedgerow payments while also participating in nature workshops and wild food walks that provide foraging experiences, all while being environmental legends by creating habitats and food for wildlife.

Trained forms, Fans, Cordens & Espaliers

£600 per day

Train your fruit trees into beautiful and unique forms that work for you. Due to the time it takes to train a tree, I ask you to consider this as a minimum 5-year investment into your tree. These sessions have been successfully used as training days for volunteers of community orchards, equipping them with the basic formative pruning skills to use across the seasons. Additionally, these workshops can complement your foraging experiences and wild food walks, enhancing your connection to nature. Prices are per day, not per trained form, and inclusive of insurance and tool hire.
